FIREARM RETURNS 

When you receive the firearm at the FFL, please inspect it thoroughly before accepting the transfer. The policies outlined below are only for guns that are picked up from the FFL. Returns are only eligible when the gun has been used properly and is returned in its original condition.

 

NEW GUN RETURN POLICY 
  • All new gun sales are final. As a reminder, new guns are eligible for any applicable manufacturer’s warranties. If you need help contacting the manufacturer, please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist.

 

CERTIFIED USED GUNS

     Certified Used Guns may be returned within 3 days after the transfer is complete for any reason for a full refund, minus any fees, shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee. After 3 calendar days, all sales are final. 
  • A Guns.com Certified Used Gun may also be returned within 7 days if it is malfunctioning with proper use, and newmellegunshop.com
     will pay all the shipping fees. After 7 calendar days, all sales are final.

NON-CERTIFIED USED GUNS 
  • Non-certified used guns can be returned if there is a mechanical defect that occurs within 3 calendar days of the physical transfer of the firearm to your possession. After 3 calendar days, all sales are final. 
  • All other reasons for returns on non-certified used guns are ineligible.

    does not accept returns on Ammunition. All ammo sales are final. 

 

OPTICS, MAGAZINES & OTHER ACCESSORIES
  • Guns.com does not accept returns of Optics, Magazines & other accessories. All sales of optics, magazines and other accessories are final. Optics, magazines and other accessories may be eligible for any applicable manufacturer’s warranties. If you need help contacting the manufacturer, please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist.

 

GUNS.COM BRANDED MERCHANDISE

Guns.com Branded Merchandise can be returned within 30 days of receipt. We provide free return shipping on Guns.com branded merchandise and on all clothing eligible for return. Returned clothing may not be washed, worn or have any damage caused by accident. We recommend following washing and handling information as we will not honor returns due to improper care or use, or the natural breakdown of colors or materials over extended time and use.

 

ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT

GENERAL RETURN GUIDELINES

  • To start the return process, contact us directly at service@newmellegunshop.com or (866)582-4867.
  • Shipping labels are emailed and will need to be printed by the customer.
  • All returns on orders paid by a credit card will receive a credit to the card used on the purchase once confirmation of receipt of merchandise has been made and inspection has been completed. Depending on your financial institution, refunds are credited between 3 to 5 business days after issuance.
  • Packages refused by customers will be refunded for merchandise total only. Shipping and handling charges for both the delivery and return shipping, as well as any fees, are non-refundable.
  • Any firearm(s) shipped to your designated FFL that are not picked up for any reason within 14 days of arrival or if you are not legally allowed to pick up the firearm are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus outbound and return shipping and any other fees.
  • Any returns received that do not qualify for our Return Policy may be returned to the customer at their expense. When possible, the expense will be charged to the credit card on file for the purchase. This includes items that are non-returnable, damaged, misused or not purchased from newmellegunshop.com
  • We do not provide an exchange option. Simply place a new order for the desired merchandise. Since items tend to sell out quickly, we recommend immediately placing an order for the replacement merchandise.

  • Keep in mind, most manufacturers provide a manufacturer’s warranty, and any product issues should be submitted to the manufacturer first.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
